Are
there any incentives with this type of Credit Card? |
Many credit card companies offer incentives or perks for using their card. There are some that even offer these benefits with the 0% interest. These benefits are sometimes called loyalty schemes because they are ways the credit card companies entice you to use their credit card over another. These offered benefits are growing in number. Some companies offer air miles, points or cash back. If
you are interested in air miles incentives there are many offered. The
American Express British Airways credit card offers British Airways miles
with purchases. The MBNA
Travel American Express card includes annual multi-trip travel insurance,
a concierge service and an airport executive lounge priority pass.
Cooperative Bank offers a 0% credit card with travel rewards. There are many other incentive offers for 0% credit cards. The American Express Nectar credit card gives nectar points for purchases. The MBNA Rewards card offers 1 point for every £1 spent. Points can be redeemed for holidays, wine, flights or even cash. The MBNA Platinum Rewards card offers 1 point for every £1 spent with points able to be redeemed for high street vouchers as well as holidays, flights, wine or cash. The Virgin Money Credit Card offers points that can be redeemed in their member shop. It can become hard to compare the credit card incentives. Just remember that the incentives can become expensive to you if you have a monthly unpaid balance. Check the ongoing interest rates before you choose a card. Some of the cards with more incentives charge a higher ongoing interest rate. Always read the fine print before signing up for a credit card. There may be additional charges or annual fees that you should be aware of. These types of charges will make the credit card more expensive in the long run. Beware
of offers sent by post. Although legitimate, they try to entice you into
getting their card immediately.
It is always wise to shop around for the best offers and interest
rates you can find. Remember that interest rates can vary depending on
your individual credit history. |
